So I realize I’ve been slacking with posting lately! Oops! Well, here is another little tutorial for all you broke/ lightweight gear heads! 

Making your own footprint for your tent is super lightweight, easy, and costs around $5!

All you need is a painter’s tarp, something to measure with, scissors, and of course your tent! 

The tarp should fit underneath your tent, minus two inches on each side. You want the footprint to be smaller than your actual tent so that water doesn’t get drawn between your tent and the footprint. For example, the width of my tent is 54” so you want to cut the width at 50”.

WANT! Wouldn’t it be sweet if as your body got warmer, the life depleted? …cause I don’t know about you, but heat exhaustion isn’t fun…but this necklace would make it entertaining at least! 

I caught a little leopard frog today…no big deal! :) I love fun hikes.
